Would that I had been sitting close by with my rifle gun.

Missing out, DanL

To be as big and ugly as these critters are, they can easily sneak up on a body quickly.

In addition, once spooked, they are very fast in the get away department. Being low to the ground they can be very difficult to spot in the brush. One has to look for the shrubbery moving about when they are rooting in the thickets.

Fortunately or not we don't have them in Maine. Georgia was crawling with them and the agricultural damage they inflicted had to have been in the many, many millions.

Thankfully we don't have them on Delmarva either. Would be fun to hunt, but don't want the destruction.

But I DO want to be a guest star on Wild Boar Fever with a fine flintlock Jaeger! Smiler

Hanshi, God's Farm is located right across the Chattahoochee River from Georgia South of Columbus. Unfortunately, we are getting their Pig overflow. They are swimming the river in droves.

They always seem to be where we are not. To their credit and our detriment, they are masters of their environment.

Osprey, We will gladly share some with you Big Grin
