I had a chat with my barber and I ordered a razor through his supplier decided to buy one with interchangeable blades. Will see how that works before up-grading. Might try it out tomorrow.......Smiler

New to the forum, but have been using a cut throat for @35 yrs now. Started out using my great grandfathers razor and now have about 10 antiques that are in the rotation. Get a closer shave than using the modern multi blade safety razors.

Well, how do you do it? I've been trying, but my 62-year-old face must have too much loose skin or something. I get a MUCH closer shave with my Gillette Atra or whatever it is. I sometimes do fairly well with a cut-throat, but I always have to follow it up with the modern one. I sometimes have little blood spots, too.
