Last Saturday Ms. Audrey and I selected floor tiles for the laundrey in our new house. Tuesday I started installing them. Today I finished. It is first time I did a whole floor.

Ugh, don't try this at home. Ms. Audrey wanted to have black grout on them dark grey tiles. The dye in the grout is soooo hard to get off the textured tile and off yourself.

Buuut...it looks good when it is done.

I built the counter a little high, so I had to raise up the kitchen range. glued half width of brick to the tile and tiled them for a track for the range to sit on. I though it came out pretty good.

I know you have all seen washer and dryer before, but these are Méx made Whirlpools. Water saver washer, etc.

The old man pushed and turned the knob on the kitchen range and held a match to the burner and a nice bright blue flame leaped out to about a half inch. He smiled.
He had poured a floor of concrete against the pump house on one side and the property wall on the other in the front yard on Monday. On Tuesday he had carried the tank (122 liters) out and set it on the floor. Then he laid a brick wall around the two exposed sides of the floor. This did two things: The tank does not need to be looked at while sitting on the front porch with visiters. And it hides the tank from thieves looking into the property from the front gate or the rounded look outs in the front wall.
Thursday on the way to the house, he stopped at Pepi's and bought many connections for 3/8th copper gas pipe. By Friday noon he had finished putting ends on the all the places he wanted to connect gas to instruments. There were three pass thru water heaters, small heaters at each location where he would use hot water, more efficient, throw away very little water waitng for it to be hot; the kitchen range, and the dryer.
He had also called Gas Zaragoza and they came and filled his new tank about ten minutes later.
Then he received a call from the Whirlpool service man who was arriving by bus to hook up his range, dryer and washer.
By the time he left the washer was pumping water in and out, agitating and spinng, the dryer was pumping hot air through its tumbler, and the kitchen range was lighting all its burners and oven. He didn't need a match on the burners because the old man had fired up the generator to test the service man's work. He just pushed the igniter button.
From now on the old man would only need to light a campfire if he wanted one. He was looking forward to making his eggs for breakfast on the new range and heating water for coffee on it. Also Ms. Audrey could send food along that needed to be heated.
The old man knew the Lord had prompted him to get the gas fittings all installed so the service man could set up and test all the appliances.
He prayed that the Lord would protect the house and the goodies while he went back to San Antonio Tlayacapan to spend the weekend with Ms. Audrey.
Saturday he went to the solar panel store to make an appointment for his house to be surveyed for installation of his island system.
The old man was happy.

Just wondering, how long should that tank of fuel last? Heating water and cooking and such.

I hope it will last at least a month. This would include water heating for showers, dishes, laundry and clothes dryer. All gas.

Here is a close up of the fan light in the living room. The brushed stainless is part of Audrey's color scheme. We are going to turn the blades upside down. The other side is either black or a really dark brown which works better with the color scheme.

This is the light in the masterbath. I hung it myself.

This light is over the kitchen sink. But Audrey wants to change it for something that works better for her color scheme. we will use it somewhere else. we have places.
