This a pic of muzzleloader built by amateurs in México. The barrel is a water pipe. The breach is two thin round tubes with seams. The seams are lined up as you can see from the edge of the split. And it has only been given a lick with a welder where the barrel is inside the two thin tubes. This, ahem, 'firearm' survived being fired with real black powder for some years. (don't know how many) About two weeks ago he went to the hardware store to buy powder and they did not bave the holy black. But they told him the white stuff which the said will do just as well. Now the white stuff is some kind of primitive blasting powder made with, perhaps, suger and potash, don't know. Anyway on the first firing it exploded, bursting the 'breach' and destroying the 'stock' and injuring the left wrist of the pastor who owns it. He is healing nicely and has full use of his arm and hand.
I have fired one of these home made muzzleloaders in the past, and, with the white stuff. I will not be doing so again.
My thought is that if this 'gun' survived for a while using the holy black, I think we can lay to rest the debate which often rages about the kinds of steel to use in American made custom MLs.

the house is not that pale. Almost looks white. But I turned my new Nikon down to the lowest pixel setting so I could upload easier and I think the color is not registering as it would if my pixel count was higher.

Today I put the drawerfronts on the all the cabinets. Here is an example. This is on the west wall of the kitchen.

I could be wrong, but try changing your white balance. If you are under a cloud and the house is also, try cloudy sky, or open shade or what ever they call it. If you have a point and shoot Nikon try looking for a cloud symbol on the control dial or a house with lines coming from it representing shade. This might cure the off color of the house. Just remember to reset it to Auto later. It is worth a try. Pixel count should not be a factor. Fewer pixels just makes it faster to send via the net [ smaller file size ] and will not make good 11 X 14's [ again smaller file size. ]. The house looks great. Now you just need the 220 volt stuff.

Thanks for your advice. But, you lost me in the first line. I just am not that good at understanding cameras.
The next morning I set the camera pixel count up two sizes and took the pic with the morning sun shining at a shallow angle and it gave me true color. So if I understood anything you said, you could be right.
I will only be getting 120 volts, but am planning a electric sparing house so I really won't need two lines, just one. But it sure would be nice to get that. Hee, hee!

I put the turntables in the corner cabinets today and then fitted the fronts and installed the doors.

Today I made moveable shelves for the one cabinet for Ms. Audrey to pull out her pots and pans. It will make life easier for her in her old age. One more cabinet like that, with the knobs on the doors and drawer fronts and the kitchen is finished! We didn't buy enough tracks for the moveable shelves and I did not feel like going to Guadalajara today to buy four more.

I bought a passle of traditional roof tiles and my contratista put them on the metal gridwork rooves.
