This is a belated thank you, since I am now home, and just now remembered my login info.
I was quite happy to come across a large selection of brand new in the wrapper Muzzleloader magazines at the Passenger Terminal at Baghram Airbase Afganistan. I dont know if they were donated by the Magazine itself, or someone, but it was appreciated.
I picked up an issue that I had missed on an earlier overseas trip that featured a Buxton painting of my old room mate from my Museum worker days in New York. It was just what I needed to get thru the deployment
THANK YOU MY BROTHER FOR YOUR SERVICE I'M GLAD YOU FOUND A LITTLE PIECE OF HOME OVER THERE AND WELCOME HOME FROM SSG CHARLIE DOUGLAS US ARMY RETIRED
Montour, we are not sure how the magazines got there. We have a customer that recently ordered quite a few magazines to send to the USO, to be distributed where most needed and we here at Scurlock Publishing have also sent magazines to support our troups. Thank you so much for letting us know about this and that it brightened you day. Welcome home.
Welcome home, and thanks for your service.
