I would like to try and make a coyote fur hat. I have seen some hats that have the legs hanging down past the shoulders. Are the coyote feet attached or is it just the fur from the legs?

Typically, the hats are made from complete hides with feet attached. You might want to consider the fact that this type of hat, from the documentation, is completely 'Hollywood' and nothing anyone ever wore during the period. Lots of silly stuff out there that may look cool, but really isn't. Try bending over to start a fire with stuff dangling down and flopping around. It won't take long to decide on a different style hat. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Pete G,
