| Numrich has shotgun barrel blanks for sale I believe about .57 cal. and .67 cal last I looked. The .57 would make a dandy boy's (or girl's) gun. Hope this helps. George |

| problem with the 28 is that many manufactures simply make a 20 gauge barrel with a smaller hole, makes the barrel heavier. If you look around there are some 28s that are smaller on the outside. Other thought would be to watch the auction sites for a barrel that you could have someone bore out. (my two cents... and that is worth a lot less that one would think.)

| "Trade Gun Sketch Book" by Hanson (Museum of the Fur Trade) has plans on using a takeoff .410 bbl to make a Trade Gun. Pryor Mtn. Bill Newton has a booklet I like, Trade Muskets or Northwest Guns. Both inexpensive.
