Alabama youth hunt starts in the morning taking my 10 year old grandson he will be using my 12 gauge ML shotgun hope the birds cooperate......Smiler

Thanks guys. The weather was perfect cool temp no wind, we had one gobbling for awhile but never showed up and had a hen pass by. Their not quit ready yet. Will get after them again in the morning.

So close we had several birds goblin this morning a group of 6 hens came by thin a big Tom came strutting by but was out of range but we had a good morning.

Congrats on the bird. One taken by a youth during the youth season is a memory all it's own, but one with a ML is double the memory. You'll have to do up a really nice fan display with the spurs and a pic of the lad holding the ML. That will last a lifetime, something he'll never forget.
