Yup! Ol' Coon was a hoot! Itchin' to git goin' and his pa havin' fits to keep him settled. The life he's presently took up will have him a graybeard before his time, for sure. Hope he comes out of it learned, respectful, and in good health!

Here's to ye, young mountainman--make yer tracks, but keep 'em on solid ground! And never fergit yer pa!

I have become a man off alternative ways, i still trap and hunt, i was just in northern PA with my dad trapping beaver and a few weeks before that me and my dad, and always my dog, spend 3 days two night with the locks hunting deer and trappin cats and beaver, the road is the last frontier and a lot of being on the road with just a pack reminds me very much of the men of old just trying to survive and live freely

Hello Young Coon! It is good to hear you're still at it. Keep it up and take it all in. I've made a couple of bows mainly due to your post many moons ago. Happy trails!

Ya, things do look more alive on foot. You are making a lot of us old coons envious with your willingness to chuck conventional life for the adventurous road. Keep us posted and by all means keep safe.(especially hopping those trains).
May the Lord be your traveling partner.
