Well the first chore was drawing the tag, that took 13 years, but now the fun part starts. Heading to the mountains tomorrow for three days of hiking around public lands looking for acorns and bear poop! Gotta scout out where I'm going to hunt next month. Figure at least this trip, maybe one more a week before the season for most recent info before the hunt.

I just hope these legs remember how to get up hills, as I live on land flatter than a dinner plate. Only peaks and valleys here are the waves on the Bay when it gets rough!
