A tree went down this morning at the mission compound here on Lake Chapala in sunny south México. I will show you a series of pics.

I had some help cutting away two limbs by hand tree saw and we got the toyota out and proceeded to clean it up.

After a crew cam in and cut up the tree and hauled off most of the wood and all of the foliage.

It is a shame it was damaged, but a blessing that it wasn't worse than it is based on the size of the tree.

Yeah, without that hefty rail on the front of the carport, or without a carport at all, I think the sienna would have been a total loss.

Just to let you know, the Sienna has a new back window in it as of this afternoon. Cost me a chunk, but it sure beats plastic film for a back window. The other stuff can wait for a little while. The car really looks Méxican now.

LOL that was good, but still based on the size of the tree beats buying a new rig.
