Wishing you all a Happy and Safe 4th of July!
Here along the western front all is quite......so far......very subdued celebrating and family gatherings taking place, but with the ever present threat of anarchy and Covid-19 lingering in the background.
I had been appalled at the misconduct of so many people trying to place blame on us of today for the situations and conditions of yesteryear. Destroying our history does not right any perceived wrongs.
The forest is a wilderness only to those that fear it, silent only to those that hear nothing. The forest is a friend to those that dwell within its' nature and it is filled with the sounds of life to those that listen.
And a happy fourth of July to you as well. Best enjoy it while the 4th is still celebrated before it offends someone and the politicians cancel it.
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government. --Thomas Jefferson
A very noisy 4th of July here in East Tennessee. Wife and I stayed home, but there were more than the usual amount of gunfire and fireworks going on all around us from twilight until late into the night.
Know what you believe in. Fight for your beliefs. Never compromise away your rights.
