Hello the 'Fire! Sadly I need to remind everyone that no flaming is allowed around our Campfire. What is "flaming"? That's slang for personal attacks. Remember that many beginners like to just lurk and read and learn, and I know we all want to be welcoming to them. Folks here are friendly and trying to be helpful, so try to keep an open mind to all questions, suggestions and responses. Thanks. -Linda
Yeh I agree , what flaming ? This is what I like about this forum nobody jumps all over you like that other muzzleloader forum. In fact I left that other forum because people were so mean spirited there.

"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks." Gosh! Now I feel bad about saying Bookie looked like a "Buddha in bib overalls". That was meant as a description of his temperment, not physique! I'm just glad I didn't say anything bad about his vicious attack dogs!
