Welcome Mrs. Scarhand, it is so nice to have another lady at the camp! A romance writer at that! Welcome, Welcome. Fiddle are you really writing a mushy story? Will Cornpone art be included? I bet the guys out there can hardly wait to read that...

Mushy stories!?!

So yer gonna start printing articles about dogsledding too? Walna, I could relate several stories that'er real mushy about that......wouldn't call'em romantic, maybe aromatic ifen ya step in "it", tho!

About tha onliest thing "mushy" about 'sticks stories might be tha cormeal mush served fer breakfast onna cold morning.

Wolfwoman likes them romantic hysterical novels written by that Gabaldy gal, but she never mention anything about them being mushy sleddogging stories.

Guest I need to do more reading. Our post rider is awaiting fer the rivers ta freeze up afore he delivers tha new Muzzmag.

Regards,xfox

Fiddlesticks, we've all read your mushy, romantic stories. I especially like the ones about the love between a man and his fowler! Big Grin

Thanks Dick. I always enjoy yours, too.

Miz Diana, I'll try to do Cornpone art; of course mushiness may be too serious a subject for such daft drawings as those!

Pvt. Potts, you wouldn't be trying to get me to give something away . . . would you? I'd tell more but ol' Mush'fox would kill my whole set of characters come sunup and I'd be stuck with trying to live with a missus breathing out threatenings slaughter against him, again.

"Mushiness too serious..."

Now 'sticks, you KNOW there ain't nothing MORE serious than hunting...especially squirrel hunting!

I read a bunch of "Hinkel Dog Stories" when I was in grade school. Can't wait to start reading some dog sleddin' stories...

Sticks,
By the way, if that one piece of fine art showing the guy using the squirrel call is a self-portrait, I'm happy to find someone even better-lookin' than me!

I coulda did better but somebody kept jigglin' the mirror I was looking into. Somehow it turned out much cuter than in real life. My missus fell in love with me all over again.

Must be where the sudden urge for mushiness hit me.

Sparks, there is a couple of dogs in the story . . . shhhh---Splooshfox will stick an arrow in 'em . . .

Since I instructed the staff at Scurlock to send my Muzmag to my Mother in law's house in PA I didn't expect to see any of them for a while.
However...Mz Audrey and me will be going to Texas to see our daughter pinned when she graduates from nursing school. She and her hubby have paid for an airline ticket for the mother in law to come down for the event. I will be telling her to bring it along down.

Sooooo...In late December I will get to see the nov/dec issue. Yeehaw!

Fiddlestick's, you're funny! Made me laugh.

By the way, I've read your articles in the magazine more often than I've read Mike's. I really like your artwork.

As for my novels, Scurlock wouldn't want anything to do with them, they're all contempory, though I have started one set at a rendezvous. Smiler
