I've been making bear claws out of polimer clay.You can actualy blend the colers and make them look quite real.

I'de love to see what you have been up to.
The clay is the same stuff they make pvc tube out of if done correctly it should be pretty good.

Hey Firestarter,"bout time ya showed up, thought some scum might'a lifted yer hair!(easy to do these day's!!!!)I personally prefer to go out and get the real ones off the original owner!(bear claws that is) Hope ta see ya all at Western Wayne. Far piece from Escanaba after surgery again.

I did use Feemo on a otter bear claw display piece years ago. Rather delicate, all in all, and most likely wouldn't have stood up to lots of wear.
My favorite thing for fake bear claws, is tines from deer antlers. Many of the old necklaces were made from these. The back sides were flattened, and then stained red with ocher.
Other things used, were bighorn sheep horns, and horse hooves.
