I cant believe how similar thought patterns can be in this hobby. A few issues back the picture depicted an Indian on horseback holding a French musket above his head. It was decorated with white beads inletted into the stock and a cross of Lorraine nailed to the butt. I had done my 1717 musket that way a number of years ago before ever seeing that issue. Now I just watched the video of TC Albert on the muzzleloaders facebook page and he has a powder flask hung behind him made of horn that is identical to one I made with scraps from my craft box. It just amazes me to see people thinking along the same lines and same ideas in this hobby.

I am happy you watched the video... It is neat how we all do tend to make similar things and solve problems in similar ways... tc
