This one is a late 1840's-early 1850's Southern Plains style skinner/scalper and pound beaded brain tan over a rawhide liner sheath with twisted fringe - it was inspired by three original sheaths and a couple original SW trade skinner/scalpers.

I dont know bout anyone elses first born,But up till he got a truck(abot 8 years ago) He was a preety good post hole digger. You can have him plus my brothers sorry as---- oops'I mean well trained hound dawg fer trade!!
