Sure. Just do a search for historical trekking and you will find several.

I belong to the Coalition of Historical Trekkers and their website is www.coht.org

I took a slight hiatus from trekking but I have been recently inspired to get more involved and will work diligently to get a No. Carolina chapter operational in the coming winter.

I'd rather trek alone. Maybe with 1 other.....That way there is no debate on how far, how long to stay, when to git out.....Too much drama with too many folk....JMHO though....Your mileage may vary.....

Keep inside the tree line, Don't let 'em know where yer bedded. Some have less than you do and my be inclined to try and take what little ya have.

That's why I like to hunt by myself. No compromise, no confusion. I can change my mind and adapt as I go along.

From what I have seen the more people you have involved in something the less fun it becomes.
