This is for right foot dominant trekkers.

To keep from walking in circles walk to the LEFT
side of trees, this will compensate. In flat
open ground pick out a terrain feature and walk
towards it. When you arrive at the terrain feature pick another in the direction you want to travel.

Problem is that when you're on the left side of some trees you're on the right side of others. Maybe that helps to walk in squares instead of circles.

45-120 If there aint no trees,then you should be able to see the forest!!!!!!!!!!!Just stay left.HAW HAW If I keep to the left wouldnt I just go in a circle to the left?????Might want to take a look at the sun/stars and figure where you might be from where you want to be,just remember you arnt lost,you know exactly where you are its camp thats lost.Keep your eye on the North Star at night,same place always,watch the sun it changes with the seasons,high and low on the horizon.That moss on the North side of the tree in the swamp,all it ever told me was in all likelyhood my feet were wet or about to be.Back awhile ago the Chinese figured it out"COMPASS"just watch where your rifle is or you will go in circles.See you up the trail,stay on the left so Ill know its you and were lost.HAW HAW
