Just asking opinion, are they good on the trail? And are they durable?

Hey Benny,
I took mine to the Rockville Shoe Hospital, and had a second sole added. That allowed me to put some hobnails into them for traction. Had them many years now.

Fugawee hi-lo trekker boots are good and give great ankle support. I quickly learned they are slippery on wet leaves and/or linoleum. Mine last about three years before I have worn them out on treks here in Central Florida. So, I'm on my third pair in the last nine years.
Crazy Crow has trekker boots at a lower price. However, I do not know anything about their trekker boots.
I do not know where trekker boots are manufactured. Possibly Mexico (not a bad thing, in my opinion).
