Muzzleloader Issue Sept/Oct 2016
I would like to express a 'Thank You' to Mike Nesbitt for the article titled "NEW GUNS FROM GREEN RIVER RIFLE WORKS COLLECTORS ASSOCIATON". The Sept/Oct issue reached many of you on Thursday or Friday of this past week, I have been receiving requests for additional information. Nice work Mike, we 'Thank You' here at GRRW.CA.

I enjoyed the article. In the 1970's, I had very little money and no convenient place to shoot. I ordered two or three of the GRRW brochures over the space of a few years and watched the evolution of their product line. I also read about them in Muzzle Blasts magazine. However, the company went under before I could justify the expense of one of their rifles.

I checked the link provided by Factor in his post above, and found the new rifles offered by the GRRW Collectors Association are not cheap, but the prices are well in line with what you would expect to pay any respected custom builder.

I think the concept behind this plan is a good one, and I see the possibility of getting one of those full stock Leman trade rifles that I missed out on forty years ago. Just maybe...

Best regards,

Notchy Bob
