I have a couple of different thickness [.187 and .089] of cork on hand and am going to play around with it for OP and OS wads.
I know you could use many different materials for wads.
I think it will work fine for OS but not sure about OP. Not sure about getting a good seal.
Was wondering if others have tried cork and what you thought of it.
This is just a thought on a boring day.

I've never tried cork but if it is larger than bore diameter (say, .50" in a .45) or there about it should work just fine. I often use 1/8" felt.

I used to punch 12 ga. OS wads out of cork gasket material. They seemed to stay down better than a card, maybe from the natural elasticity of cork.
