The horn was heated and the tip was done in the same stain. Made the staple for the baseplug. Leather thong is attached with linen thread and sinew...

I really like the look of your horn and shotbag, I'm a big fan of the common working man look. Very nice, nice use of the tick liner, I use a lot of that myself, somehow just really sets it off I think.
