Where can I get polished cow horns at a decent price? I used to get them at Tandy leather when I lived in Oregon. I live in the midwest now and I'm looking for a possible local source. I'm building a few powder horns for some flat-landers around here. I used the last one that I had left last week so I'm at the end of a blind canyon. I also need some smaller horns for salt & pepper horns.

They have a great selection, clear descriptions and prices that are quite reasonable. I have gotten several from them and was entirely satisfied.

The man that owns PH&M is a Hornsmith so he knows what you want, just tell him what you are building.
If you want to see some of his work go to, The Horners Bench, web site. Nothing but horn when you get there.

I have to agree here, Powder Horns and More has a great supply reasonably priced. And the photos really good, and accurate...

I've even been considering getting a couple and trying some horn work, myself. They do have an amazing variety.

Maybe this is too obvious...but try eBay. There are lots available. You see what you get. Some are polished, some are not. Always worked for me.
