That's a great idea; much better than my fish stringer. *Young guys should hang out with old guys; old guys know stuff.*

Looks like it's good for 1 squirrel????? May be add some loops???? Must be much warmer there... In winter temps..The squirrel hits the ground..take a picture or not.. Then out comes the knife....much easier to skin warm... tote gloves and bags to hold cleaned game in... Keep the tail for my fly tying pals. How do warmer climate hunters deal with this? This message has been edited. Last edited by: fowl,

Fowl the loop slides you can make it as big as you need.... The best thing about owning a dog is that someone is happy when you get home.

I put them in a PC/HC 2.5 gallon Ziploc Bag in the game pouch of my hunting vest. (which is also my equipment vest instead of a shooting bag, etc) Flintlock Rifles & Smoothbores Hunt Like The Settlers

Skin 'em, gut 'em, put 'em in an old breadsack. HC/PC, all the way! It's not the first time, I've protected my hair, in just such a manner.

You can use any line for squirrels. All you need is a loop with a half-hitch to go around each head.. only limit it the length of the cord and the number of the squirrels. The Flemish bow string is twisted, so he can part the two main pieces and add squirrels with the first one in the loop pulling downward so would help force the gap closed around the next squirrel's neck and so on.. All good idees. Our tradition is to cut a twig, slit a hole in a hind foot and slide the foot onto it. Can carry several that way on one twig. Can also hang 'em in the fork of a sapling, etc. Fiddlesticks As long as there's Limb Bacon a man'll eat! (But mebbe not his wife...)
