Well, I have all my accoutrements for the .50 cal - early virginia rifle I ordered in the spring - should be here within days.

I got a bag made by Jim Smith aka Beaverman, a horn made by Ray Ferree, flints from Track of the Wolf, Pickering rifle tools, bag mold from Rapine and powder measures from Pathfinder and DeadDawg.

Just need my rifle now

May I ask the specifics on the rifle? I also just received my Rapine mold yesterday, a .525. I'm also waiting for an EV rifle from TVM. Best regards. RH

Nothing really special. Made by Bobby Christian - straight grained maple stock, brass fittings and a sliding wood patchbox. 50 cal with a 42" swamped barrel - single trigger. Just a good plain working mans rifle
