Do you mean Simon Kenton? That may be why you are having trouble finding anything.
Allan Eckerts book "The Frontiersmen", though a narrative, is basically about the life of Simon Kenton. It is excellent reading...

Simon Kenton's adventures are a good read. I read the Frontiers Men as well. Good Stuff! My Pa has another book, which I tried to get the title of with no avail. I'll hopefully will be back up in Maine at the old homestead in November for the annual "Deer Hunt" in November I'll track it down then, and post author etc. then. He was one tough guy for sure if even half of what is written is true!

Finished reading "Simon Kenton: Kentucky Scout," by Thomas Clark a few weeks ago. It was a decent book, but was written where a youngun could read it. The "Frontiersman" is a great book on Kenton and Tecumseh.
