I just finished reading DECISION POINTS, George W. Bush's memuors. On pages 475 and 476 in his epilog he tells a story that happened shortly after he and Laura left the White House. Then they moved from Crawford to Dallas. His dog's name was Barney.

...I took Barney for an early morning walk around the neighborhood...Barney spotted our neighbor's lawn, where he promptly took care of his business.. There I was, the former president of the United States, with a plastic bag on my hand, picking up that which I had been dodging for the past eight years.

I love it! Haaawww, Haaaawwwww, Haaaaawwwwwww!
