I've got to do a bit of a presentation and I'm never sure how to pronounce ettienne provost.
can somebody spell it out phonetically for me is the st sounded in provost or is it just provo? and I have no idea about his first name thank you |

I'd go with the first name just as it looks it should sound-ET-tee-en and last name would be recognized either way...I would go for the more French sound of Provoe...hope this helps you

Turns out Mrs. Stone is from New Orleans and speaks French...to the point of actually dreaming in French (but not lately). She says the proper pronunciation, phonetically is ATN---kind of like an ATM machine, but with an N instead of an M. She said the name translates to "Steven."
