I've been doing them for 17 or 18 yrs. now, I guess. After awhile you have to get better at it the more you make. I appreciate your compliments. I can't build the rifles and tomahawks like the rest of you, so I just stick to the things that I seem to do best.

HunsfootMI I thought Id been doing some nice Horn work till I saw yours.You are at the level where it can be said YOU are a HORNSMITH.The engrailing is most impressive,Done it some and some powder horns become rum or salt horns HA HA Hard to find anyone teaching or much written about the art of Hornsmithing.Some of the finest work Ive seen and I have traveled and seen some all over the word.
